The Laser Duo 1.2 medical device is used for the treatment of the idiopathic hirsutism or secondary to endocrine pathologies, for the treatment after a pseudo chronic folliculitis through the principle of selective thermolysis photo respect to the melanin in the inside of the hair bulb.

The device causes a gradual and permanent elimination of unwanted hair in various body parts, as long as the hair are in a grown phase, which is called “analgen”. White and red hair are excluded because they do not contain melanin and the red hair contains pheomelanin (reflective from light).

In the selection of the parameters screen it is possible choose the prototype of the patient based on the Fitzpatrick scale, the quantity of the hairs, the color of the hairs, the sex of the patient and the type of impulse specific for the area of treatment (single or repeated). The device is specifically used at the inside of health facilities (private or public) such as hospital, medical studies, ambulatory or medical esthetical center.
